Accurate and complete online profile information must be submitted by April 10, 2026. Maintaining and updating our organization’s profile is our responsibility, not that of Give DeKalb County, the DeKalb County Community Foundation (Community Foundation), DCNP, or GiveGab/EveryAction/Bonterra (the online giving platform).

4. Donation Collection and Distribution
The Community Foundation collects and distributes all donations made during Give DeKalb County and does not solicit donations on behalf of participating organizations.

5. Use of Funds
Funds raised through Give DeKalb County are used for general operating support and may not be part of a capital campaign. If our organization lists a Fund held at the Community Foundation, all donations to that Fund will become part of the Fund in accordance with the Fund agreement.

6. Bonus Pool and Incentives
Our organization will receive all donations designated to us, less any applicable platform and credit card/bank fees not covered by the donor and less the participation fee. Our organization will also receive a proportional share of the Bonus Pool. Only donations made during the designated event period are eligible for incentives.

7. Donor Choice and No Guarantee of Funds
Donors voluntarily choose which organizations to support. Participation in Give DeKalb County does not guarantee funding, and Give DeKalb County is not responsible for the amount of money raised by our organization.

8. No Endorsement
Participation in Give DeKalb County does not constitute an express or implied endorsement of our organization or its mission by DCNP, the Community Foundation, Give DeKalb County, or any sponsors or partners.

9. Eligibility Determinations
If eligibility questions arise, the Give DeKalb County Committee will determine an organization’s participation, and its decision is final.

10. Online Giving Platform
GiveGab/EveryAction/Bonterra will process all online donations made during the event. Donations processed outside the event period are subject to standard transaction fees.

11. Donation Disputes and Refunds
In the event of a disputed donation, reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute will occur. If the dispute is lost, our organization is responsible for returning the disputed funds. Refunds are possible only in limited circumstances, require approval by the Community Foundation, and must be requested by a giving day administrator from our organization within four days of the event.

12. Administrative Access and Permissions
Our organization’s administrator is responsible for granting and revoking administrative access to our GiveGab profile and for determining the level of access, including donor data visibility, for other users. GiveGab/EveryAction/Bonterra will not disclose organizational information to users without appropriate permissions.

Our organization’s staff, board members, volunteers, and donors will promote Give DeKalb County responsibly and professionally. Any defamatory or inappropriate use of Give DeKalb County logos, marketing materials, social media content, or other promotional items is prohibited and may result in removal from participation.

16. Media Participation
If asked to participate in media interviews, including print, online, radio, or television, representatives will speak to the benefits of Give DeKalb County generally and not solely about our organization.

17. Accuracy of Information
The accuracy of information about our organization included on the Give DeKalb County website is our responsibility. The Community Foundation, DCNP, Give DeKalb County, and GiveGab/EveryAction/Bonterra do not make any explicit or implicit representations regarding the accuracy of this information.
