Ways to Donate During Give DeKalb County 2023


  • Online: www.GiveDeKalbCounty.org
    • May 4
    • Midnight to midnight on the giving day by credit card or bank transfer
    • Minimum donation = $5
  • By ACH: Make a donation directly from your bank account using Plaid with a donation minimum of $100. Learn more by viewing this article.
  • By Mobile Wallet: Donate using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Microsoft Pay if they are enabled on your device.
  • By Mail:
    • April 20 - May 4
    • Complete the mail-in donation form indicating the organization(s) and donation amount(s)
    • Write a single check for the total amount payable to “DCCF”
    • Mail check and form to DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178
  • IRA via Mail:
    • April 7 – deadline to initiate distribution with your IRA custodian directed to the DeKalb County Community Foundation
    • Complete the mail-in donation form indicating the organization(s) and donation amount(s)
    • April 20 - May 4 – Mail form to DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178
    • The distribution from your IRA should match the total amount you indicate on your mail-in form

If you live locally and prefer to deliver your donation personally rather than use the mail, bring your mail-in donation form and check to the DeKalb County Community Foundation between April 20 and May 4. There is a secure exterior dropbox to the right of our main entrance and our office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. On May 4, donors can visit the Community Foundation to drop off their mail-in donation form, enjoy a cup of coffee, and see the giving day results displayed in the Freight Room (10am-2pm).

Yes. You can download and print a donation form. Complete the form indicating the organization(s), and donation amount(s), then write a single check for the total amount payable to “DCCF.” Your check and donation form< can be mailed to the DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178.


Mail-in donations must be postmarked April 20 - May 4 to be included in Give DeKalb County.


Completed donation forms and checks may also be dropped off at the DeKalb County Community Foundation using the secure exterior dropbox to the right of our main entrance.


Donations will not appear on the website until the giving day on May 4. Depending on the number of donations, there is no guarantee that donations postmarked after April 27 will be visible on the website by May 4. As mailed donations continue to arrive after the giving day, they will be added to the website and the leaderboard and organizational totals will continue to increase.

All mailed donations must be postmarked between April 20 and May 4.
